Privacy Policy
WordLope is a word puzzle game operated by the developer identified on its Google Play listing. This policy explains how WordLope accesses, collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information. Questions can be sent to privacy@wordlope.com.
Information We Collect
- Account and profile information: player ID, guest-device identifier, display name, avatar URL, language, and account creation time.
- Apple account identifier and email if you choose to connect an Apple account and Apple supplies an email.
- Gameplay information: games, steps, scores, leaderboard statistics, quests, rewards, virtual inventory, and market activity.
- Purchase identifiers and transaction status when in-app purchases are enabled in a future release. WordLope does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Network and technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, including request metadata and service diagnostics.
- The bundled Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share IP-derived approximate location, app interactions, diagnostic information, advertising/app-set IDs, and related device or account identifiers, even though this submitted version does not request or display ads.
How We Use Information
- To provide gameplay, account, support, and purchase features.
- To keep your account and game progress available across sessions.
- To detect errors, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
- To provide leaderboards, language preferences, rewards, account linking, and account deletion.
Service Providers and Sharing
We use hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the API and database. Apple processes information when you choose Apple account linking. Google Play may process app distribution and billing information. The bundled Google Mobile Ads SDK may share the technical data described above with Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or during a legitimate business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Advertising
This submitted version does not show ads or expose rewarded-ad features. The Mobile Ads SDK is nevertheless present in the Android package and may perform the automatic technical processing described above. Before WordLope enables advertising, we will update applicable store disclosures and consent controls.
Security and International Processing
Production connections use HTTPS encryption in transit. Access to operational systems is restricted and credentials are kept outside the source repository. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Because WordLope is offered internationally, information may be processed in countries other than your own by us and our service providers, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Data Retention and Account Deletion
We keep account and gameplay information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You can permanently delete your account from the Profile screen in the WordLope app or submit a request through our account deletion page. Account identities, profile information, gameplay, scores, quests, virtual inventory, market history, and advertising rewards are deleted or anonymized. Purchase and security audit records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, or dispute handling; retained records are unlinked from the deleted WordLope identity and removed when the applicable retention need ends.
Children's Privacy
WordLope is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a user's country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without legally required consent. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
